The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is searching for an Anthropology Curatorial Assistant. The Curatorial Assistant will work with the Anthropology Collections Manager, Collections Assistant(s), Curators, Museum Conservators, and Volunteers to help prepare and rehouse Anthropology collections for installation in the Rocky Mountain Science Collections Center.
Candidates must have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, Museum Studies or a related field. Candidates must have demonstrated experience of at least one year handling museum collections and creating archival storage mounts. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role as this position supervises volunteers, and should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred candidates will also have experience working with KE-Emu software or other similar relational databases.
This is a term position to end December 2014.
