Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Working with the museum’s archives and library
• Assisting with photo and historic collections,
• Responding to public inquiries,
• Assisting museum staff on scanning and digitizing documents and photos,
• Developing finding aides,
• Accepting book/archival donations,
• Assisting with public programs and staffing the museum.
• Works 20-25 hours per week, including at least 2 weekend days per month or more depending on programming and staffing, as well as occasional evening events.
Experience Required:
• Minimum three years of experience working in museum collections, library or archives;
• Experience using collection management software, Past Perfect preferred;
• Must be interested in working with the public and have excellent customer service skills.
