Additional Salary Information:
(Salaried/hourly rates are set within the pay range based on each candidate's education and experience, job responsibilities, internal equity, and/or available department funding.)
Minimum - $39030 Quartile - $44210 Maximum - $59740


Summary of Position
Encompassing the professional roles of museum registrar, exhibition preparator, head of security, and facilities supervisor, this position entails the management of daily operations pertaining to exhibitions, the permanent art collection, and physical facilities while ensuring that professional museum standards and procedures are followed in handling, displaying, and caring for works of art.


Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in arts-related field (i.e., art history, museum studies) and two years of related experience (preferably as museum registrar, or exhibition manager). Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and/or illustrator, and experience with collection database and digital images management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Valid driver's license for occasional transportation of works of art in rented van/truck.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to use power tools.


Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Masters degree preferred.
Experience producing exhibition promotional materials such as press releases, press packets, brochures, and exhibit didactic labels.


Equipment/Instruments
Valid driver's license for occasional transportation of works of art in rented van/truck.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to use power tools.
