Professional position available immediately. Responsibilities: develop and implement policies and procedures related to the registration area; plan, develop, write, and manage grant projects; teach or co-teach as much as one course annually; maintain the museum’s computerized collections management database; identify conservation needs and coordinate conservation projects. Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or higher in art history, museum studies, or library and information studies; at least two years of experience with museum registration and/or collections database systems management; computer literacy; strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; management of multiple priorities. Preferred qualifications: master’s degree in art history, museum studies, library and information studies, or related field; three years of experience with registration and/or collection management; experience with multiple collections management database systems. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
