Plains Art Museum is seeking applicants for Registrar. The Registrar is responsible for overseeing the care and documenting the status of all art objects entrusted to the museum either temporarily or permanently. In addition, the Registrar is charged with leading the implementation of all Collections Policies, Procedures, and the Acquisition Plans of the Museum. Qualifications include a BA in Art, Art History, or Museum Studies with two years experience in a museum registration department or in a museum position in which registration was an ongoing responsibility OR a Masters Degree in Museum Studies, Museum Science, or Conservation.
