Sloan*Longway is the winner of the 2016 Peninsula Award from the Michigan Museums Association as Michigan’s most impactful museum. Located on the beautiful Cultural Center Campus, Sloan*Longway is a 3 building complex consisting of the Sloan Museum, Longway Planetarium and Buick Gallery. This is an extraordinary time in the museum’s history, as the main Sloan Museum prepares for a major renovation and expansion. A key initiative in the museum renovation project is to refresh, reinstall, and reinterpret the permanent collection galleries to reflect key strengths of the collection. In addition, exhibitions have been planned for the next two years. This is an amazing time to join the Sloan*Longway team and make a significant impact on the future of the museum and community.
