The Center for Sacramento History seeks an experienced Registrar to act as project manager for a two-year comprehensive inventory of its artifact and archival collections. The Registrar will manage the ongoing inventory project, including recruiting, training and supervising interns and volunteers and be responsible for routine registration aspects for the Center’s permanent collections including care, safety and documentation in compliance with professional museum standards.
Requirements: A master’s degree in Museum Studies or Public History with a specialization in registration and a minimum of three years of registrar’s experience. Knowledge of database management and familiarity with Past Perfect 5.
This is a full-time, two-year position with the possibility of extension.
