HealyKohler Design, a museum planning and exhibit design firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a highly motivated, exhibit designer to join our team.
The designer will work collaboratively within our team to design and integrate all aspects of an exhibit into the physical space. The designer will be responsible for creating AutoCAD drawings and 3D renderings to assist clients in understanding the design intent and look of the exhibits. Selected applicant will develop drawing packages throughout all phases of design including construction drawings for fabrication of the exhibits.
RequirementsA minimum 3 years of experience in exhibit design or related field
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
Proven experience in multiple phases of the design process, including conceptualization, design development, and construction documentation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and 3-D rendering programs
Proficiency in Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,& InDesign), Word & Excel
B.A. in Exhibit Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design
