We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and organized person to manage the planning and implementation of special exhibitions and collection-based installations.
Responsibilities:


Oversee the exhibition teams for each assigned project, working in close collaboration across departments
Act as a liaison to Museum departments, and occasionally external partners, to ensure consistent and timely communication on all matters pertaining to a project
Keep projects on schedule and within budget
Work on budgets and contracts, and, where needed, exhibition tours
Coordinate multiple projects at a time

FLSA status: Exempt
Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with occasional evenings and weekends according to installation and event schedules


RequirementsThe Exhibition Project Manager (EPM) must have:


Minimum of two years' experience in project management within a museum setting
Ability to lead and facilitate cross-departmental teams while maintaining a great deal of organization and advance planning
Ability to work effectively under pressure while sustaining a high attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with large teams
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as TMS or similar collection databases
Experience maintaining project budgets and familiarity with museum operations
