We have programs in the works for later this year and in 2022. Here are the details and dates.

East Coast Rigging Workshop at the Delaware Art Museum, Wilmington, DE
We have rescheduled this workshop at the Delaware Art Museum for December 3-4, 2021. This is a one-day workshop that we are offering on two dates in order to allow more people to attend. If you are interested in this workshop, please register for one of the two dates. Since many people registered for this workshop last year (before it was postponed during the pandemic), we have limited availability for this round of registration, so please register early if you want to attend.

Non-member registration fee: $100.00
PACCIN Members registration fee: $75.00*
*You must be an active, paid member of PACCIN to receive this discount.

Public Registration: July 26, 2021

2022 Preparators Conference at Crystal Bridges, Bentonville, AR
We are happy to announce that PrepCon 2022 will be held on May 12th and 13th of 2022 at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art (CBMAA) in Bentonville, AR.
We are excited to partner with CBMAA to bring PrepCon to a new region in the United States. Featuring a diverse collection of American art, and a commitment to exhibitions bringing women and BIPOC artists to the fore, the CBMAA is situated on 120 acres of lush Arkansas greenery traversed by a network of nature trails and art walks. The conference will be held within the sweeping glass expanse of CBMAA’s Great Hall, designed by architect Moshe Safdie.

Conference Theme: Adaptation—it’s how living creatures have continued to survive, grow and thrive for eons of our shared history on Earth. Adaptation is a requirement in the face of a changing world, changing conditions, changing weather, changing knowledge. It’s through adaptation that we grow, and our corner of that world, art preparation and collections care, has had to adapt over and over to grow since our disciplines emerged as distinct within the realm of cultural preservation and exhibition.

Proposal request will be posted soon with further details.

Conference Registration begins in January 2022
