Speaker proposals for the conference are due this Thursday, 2/15. Go here (https://www.paccin.org/content.php?446-2024-PACCIN-Preparators-Conference-call-for-submissions-Looking-Back-Moving-Forward) for details, all you need is a basic outline of the topic etc to submit a proposal. We are accepting 5, 30, and 60 minute presentations. Got a Prep tip that you can share in 5 minutes or maybe a presentation on a topic you think the PACCIN community would appreciate and maybe benefit from? Our content comes from people like you, so consider giving us a proposal.
Conference registration:
Early-bird registration starts on Thursday, 2/15/24, for PACCIN membership only ($225). You will receive an email with the registration links.
Non-member registration ($250) will start on 2/26/24. The conference web page will be updated by then with the registration links.
Hotel group rates:
We have secured discounted group rates to a few hotels within a mile of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (ave rates $150- 200). They will be posted on our conference website page.
Conference Schedule:
May 15th Museum Tour Day: Tours include access to the National WWI Museum and Memorial; The National Toy & Miniature Museum collections and the offsite NAMA underground storage facility. You must register and pay a $35 fee that covers museum access and box lunch (limited spots available). We will provide transportation from the NAMA to the museum tours.
May 16-17th Conference at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (NAMA). Schedule of the conference will be provided prior to the event.
May 16th Evening Reception at Boulevard Brewing Company (free, but registration is required) We will provide transportation to/from this event.
