Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: 15.75-19.69/hr

Job Announcement: Responsible for specialized research, including provenance, needed maintenance of the overall well being of the collections; must be familiar with current codes of ethics and cognizant of laws affecting acquisitions, disposals, appraisals, loans and temporary exhibitions. Maintains both manual and computerized records; implements policies related to care and display of collection; assists in the preparation of grants, applying for 2 substantial conversation grants each year; disseminates information about the collection and activities to staff and public; administrative duties include maintenance of budget for collection area; supervision of interns; assists with daily programming as needed.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Specialized, responsible experience and training in applicable performing or visual arts
Preferred Education: Master's degree
Preferred Experience: 2 years of Registrarial and collection management experience a plus
Preferred Field of Expertise: Art History
