Below please see the summary of duties

Under the direction of the Director of Registration and Collections Management, the Registrar manages aspects of the Museum's active exhibition program, including traveling exhibitions and domestic and international loans. The Registrar will project, develop and monitor exhibition related budgets pertaining to transportation, crating, insurance, off-site storage, courier and staff travel expenses, and other associated costs. The Registrar will also serve as point person to the Museum staff to proactively inform the project team of lender requirements. Coordinate acquisitions to the permanent museum collection, accession objects and textiles into Museum's collections management database. Prepare and expedite formal gift processing for donors, in accordance with UCLA Gift Policy Administration procedures. The Registrar will also be responsible for training and supervising student assistants. The Registrar will facilitate access to registration and collections documentation, including digital images, in response to the needs and requests of Museum staff, members of the university campus, and well as outside requests from colleagues and the public.
