Senior Art Handler

Greene Naftali Gallery is seeking an experienced Senior Art Handler with a passion for the arts, to work with an energetic team in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to work well with others and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring safety of all artworks.
Receiving/coordinating shipments of artworks.
De-/installing artworks as needed for viewings on a daily basis, exhibitions on a monthly basis and art fairs.
Working with other staff members on building maintenance and storage.
Inventory management onsite and offsite facilities.
Requirements:
At least 5 years minimum experience required; an art gallery preferred.
A complete and thorough understanding of safe and proper handling /storing of artworks of various mediums.
Salary commensurate with experience
