The position of Art Handler will work both independently, and in a team setting under the guidance of the Chief Preparator. This position specializes in the care, matting, framing, transportation, and installation of works on paper. This role is integral to preserving and presenting delicate artworks, including drawings, prints, and photographs. As part of an academic museum dedicated to preservation, research, and education, the Art Handler will ensure the safety and longevity of the collection.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of best practices for handling, packing, and installing art, ensuring its safety in both storage and exhibition settings.
