1) BasicFunction- Under the guidance and direction of the lead driver,the employee will be responsible to provide safe, efficient art handling,installation and packing services to our customers. The employee must alsoassist or complete required services as outlined by Bill of Ladings and/orinstructions as assigned by the lead driver and/or dispatcher.
2) EssentialFunctions
- Under thedirection of the lead driver, provides friendly, quality professional serviceto customers at all times.
- Packs and handles artwork for transit
- Understands rudimentary & simple aspects of arthandling, packing and installation of artwork
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Competent in using various lifting equipment i.e.pallet jack, dollies, carts and Johnson bar
- Performs other incidental and related duties asrequired and assigned

3) Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Able to use basic math i.e. fractions, addition,subtraction, multiplication
- Must possess strong organizational, written, and oralcommunication skills
- Competent in using power tools, i.e. drill, hammerdrill
- Familiar with basic art object handling andinstallation
4) Physicalrequirements/Work environment
- Mustbe able to lift 50lbs. unassisted.
- Mustbe able to frequently lift and/or move up to 300 lbs with assistance ofmechanical equipment.
- Mustexhibit physical agility to enter and exit trucks.
- Employeewill be in truck cab for extended periods.
- Employeewill be exposed to outside weather conditions on a frequent basis.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
5) Minimumqualifications
- HighSchool Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Mustmaintain valid driver’s license.
- Mustpossess 1-2 years of verifiable art handling experience
- Must be willing and capable to work a flexibleschedule.
6) Preferred qualifications
- BA/MFA in art or art history
- previous art handling experience
