Artis—Naples, Home of The Baker Museum and the Naples Philharmonic is searching for an experienced associate preparator to prepare multiple aspects of exhibition development, fabrication, installation and disassembly of temporary and permanent exhibits; coordinates physical logistics of a full range of routine collections management activities, including but not limited to, fine art handling, and all related preparation to maintain collections storage facilities, oversees all works installed throughout campus, their maintenance and exhibit signage, location tracking, packing and transport, disaster preparedness, and troubleshooting in museum, storage, and exhibition spaces. Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in museum studies, fine art, art history, studio art, history or other relevant discipline required.
At least one year museum/collection experience or equivalent education required.
A strong knowledge base in museum best practices and object handling techniques as prescribed by the American Alliance of Museums required.
